Shaping the Future Generations of Physical Therapists

At ATI, our leadership is dedicated to establishing ATI as a front-runner in MSK care, including an ongoing commitment to clinician development. From our residency and fellowship programs, partnership with the Institute for Musculoskeletal Advancement and much more, our leadership and teams are dedicated to developing the next generation of clinicians. So much so that ATI raffled off a free ticket to this year’s CSM to a student physical therapist.

Erin Rine, SPT, at High Point University in North Carolina, won the free ticket and shared thoughts on her experience post-event:

Attending CSM as a third-year student was an amazing experience. Some exciting topics I learned about were new ways to address glute activation, different presentations of COVID in the outpatient setting, and how to effectively address stress fractures and growth plate injuries. It provided tips that I was able to turn around and use in my last clinical rotation. Additionally, I learned how to network and socialize with future colleagues as I prepared for the job search and to officially join the profession. I was very surprised at how many people were in attendance and how fun the expo and social events were. Being a part of a national event to celebrate physical therapy with new and exciting continuing education and a fun atmosphere is a valuable experience. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity ATI provided for me to attend!

Erin’s experience was one the ATI intends to duplicate for other future clinicians as a part of its mission to shape the future of physical therapy and clinician development. “An inherent part of our DNA at ATI is an intentional focus on clinical excellence in delivering the very past patient care,” Vice President of Talent Management Thad Satterfield said. “Providing greater access to APTA CSM for students like Erin is living out our commitment to building a stronger practice for all providers.”
